Re: SURVEYHi Jo2
Wow ! now it will be a big challenge for me ! (Don't forget to reply on your posts!)
Ok.... We just finishing a 133 tons contract in 14 days (about 180 hours).
But the biggest we made are a 685 tons in about 1 1/2 month.
So, i think you can save easily 50 percent of time compare to AutoCad.
Regards.

Thanks Boboss..Im just new to Advance Steel . I just wanted to know feed backs so i know what to be expected.
When it comes to a big job say 100 ton + does autocad slows down due to graphic card issue or what type of graphic card do you use. Are you using Acad2007 yet, it seems pretty good?
Thanks...

Yes, Autocad can slown down with heavy job.
I use a Wildcat VP880 Pro 256mb memory. So, to work with Autocad (and Advance), think to buy a video card working in OPEN GL/2.
Ati and Nvidia work good. Ati is much more expensive.
I will use Autocad 2007 with the next release, for now i use 2006.
Bye!
