ReferencesWe are considering purchasing Advance. Does anyone have a list of Pros vs Cons and information regarding your research prior to purchasing Advance. We have several seats of Tekla Structures (Previously X-Steel), but are looking to expand with Advance instead of Tekla. Can anyone offer any feedback on their discoveries while researching Advance? I would also like some idea of how satisfied you are with the software and how well it handles Misc. steel and the KSS/CNC/Bolt Lists/Gather Sheets, etc...
Any feedback will be most appreciated.

I'm a user of Advance for a steel fabricator since 2004.
If you like to work with Autocad, you will like work with Advance.
You can personalize Advance like AutoCad.
You can made all you want. The new release (7.1) integrate the "quick connection" to made most of the connections in one touch.
You can have too an analyze report of each connection.
gather sheet = very good
cnc, dxf, beam line, lists : all of these are made quickly et you can personalize them.
