LAYERSHELLO EVERYONE,
I WANT TO SET THE OBJECTS TO HAVE DIFFERENT LAYERS.
EG, COLUMN IN COLUMN LAYERS , BEAM IN BEAM LAYERS OR PURLINS IN PURLINS LAYERS. (AUTOCAD LAYERS)
IS THIS POSSIBLE?

Yes but...Yes it is but not fully automattically
If you open your Template:
Program Files\Graitec\AdvanceSteel\Shared\Support\Templates
WITH PURE AUTOCAD
You can create some layers in there (COLUMN per e.g.) and then when you reuse those template you use the search tool for all :
model role COLUMN
and select marked object and switch them on layer COLUMN .... and so on
If you already know this and looking for something a little bit more automated, there is not ...

layers".....there is not" ....but you always can write a small lisp application to do the job for you....
