|
|
I was thinking that we should have a Wish List for Advance Steel. I realize that there are work arounds for most things, but if we can eliminate this, it would be very bennificial...
1.) Threaded Rod
2.) Bent Stair Pan Bracket (Carrier Bars vs. Angles)
3.) Bar Grating Treads
4.) Bar Grating
5.) Hilti KB3
6.) Hilti HY-150 Max
15.) Be able to oversize hole in Baseplate Command.
Thanks in advance!

I hope you don't mind if I add a few things to this list
7.) Multiple Leader lines of manually placed Welds in Drawings
8.) Ability to put drawing title 'Below main view'
9.)Labeling in Erection/Placement drawings having a choice to display the mainpart mark even if you pick a single part on that assembly
10.) When bolting into a HSS, have the option to bolt through both walls
11.) When setting the values for "clipping" in the drawings, be able to have separate values for "X" and "Y"
12.)Leveling plates available on all base plate joints
13.)More accurate pipe cutting where three or more pipes join together.
14.)Be able to adjust lengths of bolts in the base plates and ot be stuck with whatever the joint gives you.
15.) A beam to beam Moment Connection |

I tried that before. No change.
(edit:)
Let me rephrase that ....that never worked for me in 7.1. It seems to work in 8.1 now that I have gone back and tried it again.
Thanks |

It was any HSS profile I tried to use. No matter now, it works in 8.1

For 15:
After creating the connection:
Double click on the anchor bolts and edit the Hole Tolerance on the Definition tab.

Thanks for the heads up. I only tried it on 2 so far and it worked. I will keep in mind that it does not always work.
